I love doing the things you hate.  I enjoy the running around, researching and reporting.  I relish making sure every single detail is thought of, that nothing is left to chance. Yes, really!

I have 15 years’ experience working as a PA at CEO and senior board level. My business skills are formally recognised by my Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development certification. I speak German and have a bi-lingual secretarial qualification.

I’ve worked in the newspaper and airline industries as well as in the manufacturing sector: all roles with a strong customer service focus.  I now provide the very highest standard of business support to busy professionals on a freelance basis.

Well, that’s the formal bit out of the way.  So, what am I like to work with?  How will I fit into your organisation?

I care about the companies I work with and about their image. I don’t want my clients to lose business through simple errors which create an impression of carelessness. 

My objective is to make your life easier. That way you get to focus on building your business without worrying about mundane details.

I believe that clear, concise communication minimises misunderstanding and makes things happen faster.  I’m a great stickler for good grammar and can sniff out a misspelled word, typo, missing or incorrect apostrophe at 50 paces.

Working in the airline industry gave me a talent for dealing with the unexpected even at 31,000’. Customer complaints don’t come much tougher than when people are stressed, under pressure or have only just made the flight.

I get a real buzz from making sure a customer goes away happy and, importantly, stays a customer.

Up close and personal
Born and brought up in Yorkshire I have lived and worked in London, Germany and the Middle East. I finally decided there’s no place like home and settled back in Yorkshire.

I love the spoken word which is perhaps why I’m a Radio 4 addict. I’m also a fan of cinema and theatre. Power walking around the Yorkshire countryside keeps me fit and my favourite place on earth is a health spa in Leicestershire.  I’m also quite passionate about my car. It’s red.
